Abitibi Consolidated is expected to make an announcement
tomorrow regarding the fate of the company’s Kenora
operations.
Newly appointed forest caucas chair, and Kenora MP Roger
Valley says he hopes a positive solution will come out of
the meeting.

Abitibi will be releasing it’s quarterly earnings
tomorrow at 10am, and plan to release word on how they
intend to cut costs at the mill.
Valley adds it would be a shame to see Abitibi leave the
community.
