The federal government says its studying ways of improving the highway system, not only across northwestern Ontario, but across the country.
Kenora M.P. Roger Valley was one of the invited guests at the annual Northwestern Ontario Municipal Association Convention, which took place in Kenora over the weekend.
He says the report should give the government ideas on how to tackle the huge infrastrucutre project.

Valley hinted there may be a user pay componant to the
highway system and the government may seek private contractors to take on the project.
