At 11:00 Monday morning, Valley was sworn in as the Liberal Member of Parliament for the Kenora Riding in the Paul Martin Government.
Valley and his family toured the House of Commons yesterday and says the June Election win is starting to hit home.
Following this morning’s swearing-in ceremony, Valley will host a reception in his Parliament Hill office.
When he retired as Mayor, Valley admitted he had no thought of returning to public life but notes he is ready and willing to do so now.
