A Dryden boy was flown to Winnipeg for treatment over the weekend after being struck by a vehicle while riding his bike.
Eyewitnesses say the boy was hit Saturday afternoon at the intersection of Duke Street and Earl Avenue during the Dryden Walleye Masters weigh-ins.
Emergency personnel arrived quickly and Dr. Michael Cortens, who was participating in the walleye tournament, also provided assistance.
Police say the boy was suffering from a broken leg but the extent of his injuries is unknown.
