Vermilion Bay Race Car Driver Dies At Emo Track

Tragedy on the track in northwestern Ontario.
Vermilion Bay’s Bill Reimer has passed away following a crash at the Emo Speedway Saturday night.
Provincial Police says Reimer left the travelled portion of the track and was found unresponsive inside the vehicle.
Emergency crews removed the 67-year-old from his race car and tried to resuscitate him.
Police are treating the incident as a sudden death.
A post-mortem is scheduled for today in Kenora.
Borderland Racing says they have lost a great friend and great driver in #18 Bill Reimer.
