The family of a Landsdowne House man is opposing a move to stay murder charges against Adam Capay.
Capay has been charged in connection to the death of Sherman Quisses at the Thunder Bay District Jail in 2012.
Capay’s lawyer is seeking to have the charges stayed because his client has spent four years in solitary confinement
awaiting trial.
Quisses’ 18 year old son Tristen says they have been waiting for five years for the case to go to trial and his father
deserves justice.
A memorial ceremony honoring Quisses life was held in Thunder Bay on Monday.
