Provincial Parks in the region open for the season this
May Long Weekend.
Blue Lake, Rushing River and the Sleeping Giant all have
11 day alcohol bans in place.
Tim Sullivan is the Northwest Zone Manager for Ontario
Parks and says most parks in the region will welcome
visitors on Friday.

Sullivan notes they’re encouraging campers to explore
the Northwest, by offering a chance to win 7 days
accomodation at the Sleeping Giant in Thunder Bay.
