Village Corner Fire Update

The Ontario Fire Marshall’s Office is now investigating the cause of a fire that destroyed the Village Corner in Vermilion Bay.
The 4-alarm blaze was reported early Monday morning.
The fire destroyed the convenience store and gas station.
Machin Fire Chief Rob Wisneski says the Restaurant received substantial smoke and water damage.
Wisneski says its too early to release a damage estimate and its not known what can be saved.
