A high number of patients with symptoms of respiratory illness have been admitted to the Dryden Hospital.
In order to minimize the risk of spreading the illness, visitor restrictions have been put in place.
They include only one parent may remain with a child who is admitted, a maximum of two visitors between 2 and 3pm, and only the spouse or labour attendant of maternity patients may visit.
In addition, the primary nurse of critically or terminally ill patients will use their judgment regarding family visiting.
