Visitor Restrictions Eased At Long-Term Care Homes

More good news for those looking to visit a loved one in Ontario long-term care homes.

Minister of Long-Term Care Merrillee Fullerton has eased visitor restrictions.

Fullerton says effective immediately, up to two people at a time can now visit a loved one during an outdoor visit with no COVID-19 test needed.

She adds starting July 22nd, indoor visits for two at a time can resume with a negative coronavirus test.

Fullerton is urging people to use common sense.

“We must continue to be vigilant when visiting our loved ones in long-term care. If you are feeling unwell, please stay home.”
