Thirty-eight years have past since Terry Fox set out on his Marathon of Hope and now help is needed to keep his memory and legacy alive.
The Terry Fox Foundation is looking for someone to organize the annual Run in Red Lake.
Ontario Community Events Coordinator Kim Smith says they have always had strong support in the community.
Since 1984, Terry Fox Runs in Red Lake have brought in more than $371,000 for cancer research.
Smith says they are looking for someone who is enthusiastic, organized, passionate and possesses exceptional leadership skills.
This years event is planned for Sunday, September 16th.
