Vote Planned for Local Services Board

A vote to establish an Oxdrift Local Services Board is planned for May
12th at the Oxdrift Community Hall.
The proposed board area consists of the Unincorporated Townships of
Aubrey, Zealand, Britton, Eton, Rugby, Van Horne and Wainwright.
Other portions of Brownridge Township, Ghost Lake Road and Mavis Lake
Road are also included.
Anyone living in the proposed area is eligible to cast a vote.
Such a board would allow the Townships involved to collect a levy in
order to run fire and 9-1-1 service.
