The Wabigoon First Nations Ice Road is now closed to motorists.
There are social media reports of a loader falling through the ice.
The driver was reportedly rescued and was treated and released from hospital as a precautionary measure.
Wabigoon Fire wasn’t dispatched to the scene and it’s not known if other emergency personnel responded.
Police always urge the public to use extreme caution when venturing out on the ice, especially in mild conditions.
