A Wabigoon resident has been charged with drug trafficking twice in the same day.

OPP say they received a report of a suspicious vehicle at a business on Government Street in Dryden just before 4 a.m. Saturday.

One person was arrested and officers seized suspected illicit drugs, including cocaine and crack cocaine.

A 40-year-old was charged with possessing cocaine for the purpose of trafficking and released from custody with an August court date.

Just before 9 p.m. that same day, officers stopped a vehicle on Highway 17 in Machin and seized suspected illicit drugs, including cocaine.

The same 40-year-old was again charged with possessing cocaine for the purpose of trafficking.

They were remanded into custody and are scheduled to appear in court on Wednesday.
