Wabigoon Woman Charged For Assaulting Police

A Wabigoon woman faces 2-counts of assaulting police following an early morning incident.
Dryden Police were called to a Hearst Avenue home around 5 o’clock this morning to deal with a woman who was banging on a door, trying to enter the home.
Officers spotted the accused, and arrested her for trespassing.
Police say Emily Brown resisted arrest and struck and spit on the officers.
Brown remains in custody.
