Waldof Man Escapes Serious Injury

A close call for a Waldof man.
Dryden OPP say a tractor trailer unit was northbound on Vaughn Road at a CN Rail crossing, when the trailer portion of the vehicle was struck by a westbound train.
The transport was forced off the road and sustained considerable damage.
Fortunately, the driver was not injured.
No charges have been laid.
