The numbers are in from this year’s Scotiabank AIDS Walk for Life in Dryden.
Chair of the Dryden and District AIDS Committee Silvia Scheibler says a few people came out on Sunday, bringing in roughly $560.
Scheibler says the money will support Safe Grad, HIV/AIDS Awareness Week, World AIDS Day and the May Long Weekend Campaign.
She says it seems people have misinformation about HIV/AIDS, and encourages folks to come out and support the cause.
HIV is a preventable disease, but there is no cure.
