The Ministry of Natural Resources has put into effect new
walleye fishing regulations for the Winnipeg River and
surrounding lakes.
Assistant Biologist Lorrie Skitt says non-residents will
only be allowed to keep 2 walleyes with a sports license,
and 1 with a conservation.
She adds the new slot size and limit changes will benefit
all anglers down the road.
