A plan to repopulate the walleye population in the Atikokan area is about to come full circle.
Last spring, Biologists fitted 18 fish in Marmion Lake with radio transmitters.
The lake had been stocked to deal with declining population.
The province is now funding a $15,000 study to see if they are moving back to their original spawning sites.
Marmion Lake is currently closed to Walleye anglers.
