Walsten resigns as Ice Dogs coach and GM

The Dryden GM Ice Dogs are looking for a new coach.

The hockey club has announced that Kurt Walsten is not returning after 10 years with the team.

Walsten is the longest serving and the winningest coach in the franchise’s history with 399 career victories.

He also led the team to back-to-back Bill Salonen Cup championships.

He was also the Ice Dogs general manager.

The hockey team says a transition plan is currently in place, and more details will be announced when they become available.
