A man, wanted on a parole violation, has been apprehended in northwestern Ontario.
Police says 62-year-old Douglas Archer was taken into custody Tuesday morning near Upsala.
His vehicle had been initially spotted Monday near Raith, but the driver bolted into the woods.
A search led police to a motel where Archer was arrested.
He had been serving an eight year sentence related to an arson case in southern Ontario.
