There will be a rare sighting if you look up at the sky over the next couple of days.
We will actually see some sun across northwestern Ontario.
Bill Laidlaw of Signal Weather Services Laidlaw blames the recent string of wet and dreary weather on the recent hurricanes that pumped moisture up the east half of North America.
Laidlaw says an upper-ridge that is rebuilding out West is starting to move into our area.
He says that means warm and dry weather is on the horizon.
This weekend, Laidlaw says we will see above seasonal temperatures, with the daytime high hovering around 18-degrees.
He notes we will also enjoy some nice southwest winds with the sun.
The normal for this time of year is 14-degrees.
