The Power Workers’ Union is warning of higher electricity rates for users if the provincial government decides to tinker with Hydro One.
An advisory council report is suggesting a sell-off of parts of Hydro One.
Union Spokesperson John Sprackett says it will lead to increased costs for the crown corporation.
Sprackett adds the report fails to show that operating Hydro One transmission separately from distribution would be more efficient and reduce costs.
