The Sioux North Warriors boys hockey team is off to a good start to the 2023/24 campaign.
The Warriors edged the St. Thomas Aquinas Saints in a shootout Monday night at the Moncrief Construction Sports Center.
Connor Bendor, and Spencer Melino scored for the Saints.
TA is of until next Tuesday when they head to Dryden to take on the Eagles, while Sioux North is back in action on Thursday when they head to Kenora against to take on the Beaver Brae Broncos.
Tonight the Eagles boys and girls hockey teams are in Fort Frances to face-off against the Muskies.
