Warriors Give Top Ranked Team Everything They Can Handle.

It may go down as the best game at the All-Ontario Boys High School Championship when all is said and done.

The Queen Elizabeth Warriors played one of their best games of the year in a statement game against the top team in all of Ontario, eventually losing 5-4 to the St. Mary Crusaders.

The Hamilton team entered the match-up without a struggle, easily will winning their previous three games.

However, the Warriors came out with an aggressive, in your face style, frustrating the Crusaders.

Queen Elizabeth carried a 3-2 lead into the third period, when St. Mary caught them off guard scoring two quick goals in the first 40-seconds.

However, the Warriors never gave up, battling St. Mary to the final buzzer.

Offensively, Queen Elizabeth was led by Cortez Favot, who had the hat trick, including a short handed marker.

Ben Forbes added a power play goal.

Jaden Marshall made 31-saves.

Sioux Lookout is now 0-3 and is eliminated from playoff contention.
