Warriors High School Hockey Champs

Talk about your nail biter. The Sioux Lookout Warriors are the Norwossa A High School hockey champs after a 6-5 Shoot-out win over the Thomas Aquinas Saints. Sioux Lookout trailed by 3 heading for the third and tied it late in the game to send it to a 10 minute 4-4 overtime. Nothing was settled in the extra frame which brought on the shoot-out. In the shootout the first 3 shooters could not score sending the game to a sudden victory shooter. Kyler Ackewance scored for the Warriors, Logan Yule made the game winning save. The Warriors captured the crown winning the best of three finals 2 games to none.
