A Hearst goal with under two minutes left in regulation was the difference as the #13 Nordiks upset the Queen Elizabeth Warriors 4-3 Tuesday.
Kendall Schultz, Ben Forbes and Chase Melnichuk scored for the Warriors.
Sioux Lookout outshot Hearst 38-21 but didn’t get the bounces.
The Warriors are now 0-2 at OFSAA and will need a Wednesday win against #1 ranked St. Mary to keep their playoff hopes alive.
The boys will now rest in preparation for tonight’s banquet at the Cragleith Ski Club.
