The Queen Elizabeth Warriors got off to the right start but couldn’t maintain it as they picked up silver at the NORWOSSA ‘A’ Junior Boys Volleyball championship.
The Warriors silenced the hometown crowd with an opening set win against the Atikokan Voyageurs.
However, the Voyageurs rebound by winning the next 3-sets.
In the Senior Girls Basketball Final, the Rainy River Owls overwhelmed the Warriors 50-32 in the gold medal game.
