An important precautionary notice for those in the Red Lake area.
The Municipality is warning of potential water contamination.
It affects users of lake water from the eastern portion of Red Lake, from Howey Bay and McNeely Bay extending east downstream along the Chukuni River.
The advisory includes those in the Keg Lake, Gullrock Lake and Two Island Lake areas.
This is the result of an overflow of raw sewage to Howey Bay and there is the possibility of E-coli contamination.
