Water Levels Back to Normal in Atikokan

A potential crisis has been averted in Atikokan.
The Town has been faced with critical low levels at the water treatment
plant, so bad, officials were warning that the municipal water supply could
have dried up.
Mayor Dennis Brown says water levels are back to a normal mark at the
treatment plant
Brown says water restrictions haven’t been lifted yet but notes Council
will review the notice Wednesday night.
The Town is proceeding with a $2-million upgrade to the water
treatment plant that will more than double its capacity.
