Water Levels Fine on Lac Seul

Flood watchers are on high alert in parts of Northeastern Ontario and Manitoba but not in the Sioux Lookout and Ear Falls areas.
Rick Cousins with the Lake of the Woods Control Board says there is no concern that water levels on Lac Seul will rise to the point of flooding.
Lac Seul is currently sitting at 354 metres, which is below average and Cousins says the Board has reduced outflow in an effort to boost the level.
The outlook poses little threat as it appears it will be a normal Spring and Summer.
However, Cousins is quick to point out that above average rainfall could quickly change things.
