Neptune Technologies has started to equip Dryden homes with water meters.
Homeowners can expect to receive a 12-page booklet shortly with information on water meter installation.
The booklet provides a toll-free number for people to call to get their name on the installation list.
Project Manager Joey McSween says they are completing the work in different stages.
McSween says they are concentrating on the east and south ends of town right now.
He notes everyone should receive a booklet by the end of this calandar year.
McSween the meters detect leaks in your home, they can never over-register your water usage and no one has to enter your home to read the meter.
Installation takes no more then an hour and a half to complete.
If you don’t install a meter, the flat rate will double after March 31st.
