Water works

The bids came in $72,000 higher than budgeted for but Dryden will go ahead with upgrades to the water treatment plant in the City & a similiar facility at the airport.
The improvements were ordered by the Province following the Walkerton tainted water disaster.
E S Fox of Thunder Bay gets the contract worth $259,000.
The overrun will be covered by dipping into reserves & shifting some figures in the budget.
