The International Rainy-Lake of the Woods Watershed Board is extending the deadline for property owners to respond to its survey about damage sustained during this past summer’s flooding and high water levels.
The board says the extension to December 22nd allows seasonal residents, who spend their winters elsewhere, more opportunity to participate.
The board is gathering the comments as part of the International Joint Commission’s review of its water level management strategies for Rainy and Namakan Lakes.
The survey can be found on the IJC’s website at www.ijc.org
