The environment, the watershed and wetland preservation will the focus
next week when members of the Oak Hammock Marsh Interpretive Centre tour the
Region.
Interactive presentations are planned at public schools in Dryden,
Vermilion Bay, Hudson and Kenora starting Monday.
Spokesperson Dusty Molinkski says the centre is located just north of Winnipeg.
The centre is open year round and offers a number of interactive
displays on wildlife, weather, water quality and astronomy.
Molinski says the information contained in the presentations will add
to the current curriculum.
