Lake associations across Canada and the United State will gather in International Falls next month.
It’s part of an event being put on by the International Watershed Coordination Program.
Coordinator Kelly Saunders says its aimed at improving communications, sharing ideas and building new partnerships.
Saunders says it will be the first time that the associations within the area watershed have come together for such an event.
She notes there are about 30 associations connected to the local watershed, both in Canada and the United States.
