Ontario Provincial Police in Sioux Lookout have charged a 46 year old man from Ottawa on a number of weapons charges as part of an ongoing investigation.
Last Friday, police executed a search warrant at a home and seized a handgun, a shotgun, two unspecified prohibited weapons and ammunition.
Police specifically note the weapons and ammunition were seized for public safety.
The accused has been released from custody and is expected to appear in court on January 30th.
