11-new forest fires were reported over the weekend across Northwestern
Ontario.
The largest blaze is not under control and is burning near the
Musselwhite Mine site, north of Pickle Lake.
The Ministry of Natural Resources says the fire is 7-hectares in size.
All of the new starts were caused by lightning and the fire hazard is
high to extreme in the southern portion of the District.
