Weekend Fire Update

Hard work by Ministry of Natural Resources fire crews prevented major
problems over the weekend.
Fire Fighters responded to 26 new starts, with more than half of them
reported Monday.
Information Officer Travis Moffatt says all of the lightning caused
fires were held to 0.6 hectares and under.
Moffatt notes 99-personnel from out of Province are still in the
Northwest battling wildfires in the Thunder Bay and Nipigon areas.
