Weekend Patrols Lead to Charges

Dryden OPP and the Ministry of Natural Resources were out in full
force during free fishing weekend.
The marine units spent over 17-hours of patrol on Wabigoon Lake,
Eagle Lake and Lac Seul.
Police laid 7-charges and issued 27 warnings.
OPP say the charges included insufficient number of life jackets,
failing to have a fire extinguisher on board, liquor violations and failing
to have all of the required equipment.
