Weekend RIDE Checks

OPP in Red Lake and Ear Falls were kept busy over the long weekend.
Police stopped over 530 vehicles during ride checks and charged
43-drivers for speeding, seatbelt infractions and liquor offences.
Officers also issed 2, 12-hour suspensions.
The marine patrol was also in action and officers charged 1-person for
no life jacket and issued several warnings.
Dryden Police also conducted a number of ride programs over the
weekend.
Over 100-vehicles were stopped and no warnings or tickets were issued.
