The Dryden Fire Service responded to a large vehicle fire over the weekend.
After being dispatched by a 911 call, fire crews say they found a tractor trailer unit on fire at a Sandy Beach Road gravel pit.
Firefighters say the incident happened around 3 o’clock Saturday morning.
Crews knocked down the fire in 30 minutes.
There were no injuries and damage was limited to the cab and dash of the truck.
Over the first five days of December, Dryden firefighters have responded to six emergency incidents.
