West Beach in Ignace Closed

West Beach in Ignace has been closed due to unsafe levels of E-coli.
The Northwestern Health Unit says the beach will remain off-limits
until 2-consecutive samples with average bacteria levels are recorded.
Officials stress its not uncommon for high E-coli levels this time of
year and note high winds and heavy rain are the likely cause.
