A long-time local insurance brokerage is now part of a B.C. group.
Gillons Insurance has been acquired by Westland Insurance Group.
Westland calls the acquisition “significant and substantial” as it branches out to become a national insurance broker.
Gillons is its first Ontario acquisition.
Gillons was founded in 1924 in Fort Frances, and has offices in 11 communities around northwestern Ontario.
