Talks between Weyerhaeuser and the Communications, Energy and Paperworkers Union continue in an effort to soften the blow of layoffs at the Dryden Mill.
CEP Rep John McGuinnes says nothing concrete has been settled yet in regards to severance packages and attempts to reduce the number of layoffs come October 11th.
That is a significant date as the Company says they will then be able to move their lumber wherever they want as the Government issued cutting licenses expires then.
McGuiness says the Union is getting no where trying to find out more information in that regard.
