After months of speculation, the Dryden and Ear Falls Mills are under
new ownership.
Domtar plans to merge with Weyerhaeuser’s fine paper business in a
deal worth $3.3-billion.

finalize, so the future of operations in Dryden and Ear Falls is unclear.
However, the merger will create the second largest manufacturer and
marketer of uncoated freesheet paper in the world.
Domtar is expected to generate $6.5-billion in sales.
As for Kenora, Goodman has the status on the Timberstrand Mill.
