Weyerhaeuser Reports Loss

Forestry giant Weyerhaeuser has announced it lost 15 million dollars in the fourth quarter.
The company says that compares to a profit of 194 million during the same period last year.
In addition, net sales for the fourth quarter were 3.4 billion, down from 4 billion last year.
Weyerhaeuser President Steven Rogel blames company losses on the global recession.
He adds the entire industry is facing its biggest challenges in more than 20 years.
In the Northwest, Weyerhaeuser has operations in Dryden, Ear Falls, Kenora and Nipigon.
