Construction crews were evacuated from the Weyerhaeuser Boiler Recovery Unit this morning as a safety precaution.
Company Spokesperson Jayne Murray says the alarms are pre-set to alert contractors and others on site about steam and emissions drifting into the area.
The alarm went off around 7, causing concern for many Dryden residents.
Weyerhaeuser will adjust the system to try and avoid causing concerns in the future.
