For the second year in a row, Vermilion Bay’s Jordan Krantz is the Manitoba Men’s Amateur Golf Champion.
Krantz overcame a 4 shot deficit to edge Scott Markham and Stewart Bannatyne in yesterday’s final round.
The Eagles Landing golfer shot an amazing 65 to finish the amateur at -6.
Krantz had the round of a lifetime yesterday carding 7 birdies and no bogies.
He is the first golfer to repeat as Manitoba champion since Rob McMillan did it in 1996.
Krantz will go on to represent Manitoba at the Canadian Amateur Championship Aug. 12 to 19th in Nova Scotia.
What a Round for Krantz
