The 2008-2009 Whiskey Jack Forest work schedule has been
approved and is now available for public comment at the
Ministry of Natural Resources office in Kenora.
The plan allocates 7-thousand hectares of forest to
Abitibi Bowater.
Acting Area Forester Hussain Mohammed adds the plan also
calls for the decommissioning and abandonment of a variety
of roads.

Iriam, Lount, McIntosh, Ord, Cook, Beaver, Cumby, Jack
Lake, Bunny and Glon Roads are just some of the structures
being abandoned in the coming year.
